The CP2915-0010 is a 15-inch fanless Panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as a combined operator interface and embedded controller, it hosts control software directly on the machine front, eliminating a separate computer in many automation cells. A glass front with projected-capacitive touch supports multi-finger operation, while the sealed fascia allows the unit to be mounted on control cabinets where process feedback, recipe entry, and local diagnostics share the same display surface. This arrangement keeps control and visualization together in one enclosure at the point of use.

Communication with a remote industrial PC is handled by a RJ45 CP-Link interface that streams video, USB, and power over one cable. The link supports 100 Mbit/s, which is adequate for transferring full-resolution HMI graphics without noticeable lag. The front surface carries an IP65 ingress rating, so dust and low-pressure water jets on the production floor do not penetrate the display area. Internally, the power stage expects a regulated 24 VDC supply, although the connector tolerates input down to 22 VDC during brownout conditions. A DIN-rail power plug rated at 16 A is used for the supply connection, and conductors up to 1.5 mm² fit its terminals.

The chassis is milled from aluminum, giving the panel the rigidity needed for vibration zones while keeping mass to 3.7 kg. Up to 100 m of CP-Link cabling is permitted, allowing installation at a distance from the control cabinet without repeaters. Two USB ports with Type A receptacles are available on the underside, and they follow the USB 2.0 protocol to supply peripheral power for barcode scanners or service sticks. Rear protection is limited to IP20 because this side remains inside the cabinet. The touch surface retains full accuracy even when operators wear thin gloves, and the underside port placement keeps temporary connections accessible without using front panel space.
