Product Description:
The CP2915-0000 is a compact panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff and assigned to the CP Panel PC Systems series. It integrates a 15-inch display, capacitive touchscreen, and an internal motherboard so that machine operators can supervise processes from a single front panel. In industrial automation environments, the unit acts as both a human-machine interface and a controller that forwards commands to drives, I/O stations, and safety modules over standard network infrastructure. Its fanless construction suits cabinets where particulate exposure and limited airflow are common.
The aluminum front carries a protection rating of IP65, preventing dust ingress and guarding the screen against low-pressure water jets. Power is delivered through a 3-pole plug at a nominal 24 VDC, and the same connector can sustain up to 16 A for startup inrush. A graphics signal may be routed over DVI lines as far as 50 m without repeaters, while a keyboard or flash drive can be attached to the dedicated USB-B port, which remains reliable over 5 m. A USB-E extender is available for the same distance. Shock testing certifies the assembly to withstand accelerations of 5 G for 30 ms, and it tolerates continuous vibration up to 0.5 G between 58 and 500 Hz. One upstream USB connection and two downstream USB outputs are provided on the rear panel for peripherals and maintenance tools.
The rear housing is rated IP20 because it is meant to be enclosed, yet the device endures sinusoidal vibration of 0.035 mm in the 10–58 Hz band without screen flicker or data loss. Field wiring uses push-in clamps that accept conductors up to 1.5 mm², simplifying power loops and ground ties. Overall transport stresses are reduced by a mass of only 3.7 kg, which helps when the panel is mounted on swing arms or cabinet doors.
