The CP2913-0000 is a fanless Panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. Mounted directly on a control cabinet door, it combines an industrial touchscreen with an integrated computer so machine operators can issue commands, view process data, and run visualization software from one sealed unit. In an automation line, it replaces a separate display, PC, and input interface, reducing wiring and cabinet space while keeping control functions close to the machinery.
The front bezel has an IP65 protection rating, which prevents dust ingress and resists low-pressure water jets during washdowns, while the rear side remains inside the enclosure. Internal electronics draw power from a nominal 24 VDC supply through spring terminals that accept conductors up to 1.5 mm². Reliable operation is maintained from 0 °C up to +55 °C, and the components can withstand storage temperatures down to −20 °C. The aluminum housing withstands mechanical shocks of 5 G for 30 ms, protecting solid-state drives and processor boards during transport or mobile machine operation. Long-distance video distribution is available through the DVI-I port, which supports cable runs of 50 m without active boosters. A local USB service jack supports cables up to 5 m and allows flash drives to be connected for recipe transfers or other data handling.
Additional field wiring uses the USB 2.0 extended interface, which carries data at 480 Mbit/s over passive cables up to 50 m. This interface allows scanners or label printers located on the machine frame to remain within reach of the controller. The rear housing has an IP20 rating, which supports heat dissipation into the cabinet air while preventing accidental contact with internal electrical parts. Humidity tolerance reaches 95% non-condensing, and the electronic components remain intact during warehouse storage at temperatures up to +65 °C. The input path can deliver up to 16 A, providing headroom for panel backlight startup and USB bus loading without voltage sag.
