Product Description:
The CP2911-0000 panel PC is produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed for flush mounting in automation equipment, it serves as the local human-machine interface that presents process data, accepts operator commands, and routes them to the central controller. By integrating a widescreen display, touch input, and field wiring inside one housing, the device streamlines installation for packaging machines, assembly cells, and material-handling workstations.
The front aluminum bezel spans 308.4 mm in width and 211.9 mm in height, while the housing depth is 55.5 mm, so cabinet planners can allocate only a shallow recess. A matching cutout of 297.4 mm × 200.9 mm secures the unit with its supplied clamps. Operators view information on an 11.6 in TFT that renders at 1366 × 768 pixels, and this resolution allows full-screen SCADA pages without scaling. The projected-capacitive surface recognizes Multi-Finger gestures, letting users pan or zoom trend curves even when wearing thin industrial gloves. Behind the screen, the DVI receiver and USB extender process incoming video and touch packets so the host IPC can be installed remotely.
Electrical power is supplied at 24 V DC, removing the need for an internal AC supply and keeping the temperature profile low. Using DVI/USB Extended links, image and USB data remain lossless over distances up to 50 m, which matches typical control-cabinet layouts on large production lines. The front face carries a Front IP65 / Rear IP20 rating, sealing it against dust and washdown spray while allowing normal cabinet ventilation at the rear. Data moves over the proprietary link encapsulated in DVI/USB Extended cabling, and auxiliary ports include one USB Type-B service input, two USB Type-A outputs for peripherals, and a USB-E RJ45 socket that sustains 480 Mbit/s to scanners or memory devices without external hubs.
