The CP2907-0000 is a fanless panel PC produced by Beckhoff as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed for mounting on machine fronts, it combines an industrial touchscreen display with an integrated computer that executes PLC, HMI, and motion tasks directly at the equipment. By eliminating a separate control-cabinet computer, the unit shortens cable runs and simplifies system setup in distributed automation cells.
The electronics accept a nominal supply of 24 VDC, and the round power plug is rated to carry 16 A, allowing the processor, display backlight, and fieldbus interfaces to start reliably under inrush conditions. A front bezel sealed to IP65 blocks dust and low-pressure water during washdown, while the rear housing remains at IP20 because it is intended to sit inside an enclosure. Operation is permitted up to 95% RH, so the panel tolerates humidity during temperature swings. Field wiring for discrete I/O or status LEDs can be landed on spring terminals that accept conductors up to 1.5 mm², which supports integration with standard control cables.
The aluminum chassis withstands continuous acceleration of 5 G, and it tolerates impact events with a duration of 30 ms without loss of data, helping protect the solid-state drive and display glass. Video can be located remotely because the DVI output drives monitors up to 50 m away through active cabling, while two USB-A ports permit on-machine service tools when the USB 2.0 extension limit of 5 m or the USB-e range of 50 m is observed. The USB-e link transports data at 480 Mbit/s for peripherals such as barcode scanners, and a USB-B service socket handles controller imaging over the faster 5 Gbps USB 3.0 channel that reaches 3 m.
