Beckhoff designed the CP2719-0000 as an interface PC system with multi-touch screen for automation and machine control systems. It offers panel installation through fetching clamps that enable safe mounting while the operating systems include Windows 7/10 to enable seamless TwinCAT software integration.
The CP2719-0000 panel PC system consists of a base Intel® Celeron® ULV 827E processor which operates at 1.4 GHz speed through a 3.5-inch industrial motherboard. It also contains a graphics processor built into its hardware which allows display output through a dedicated DVI-D port on the front but maintains an available DVI-I port for external screen as well. Under 64-bit the CP2719 PC system has 2 GB DDR3 built-in RAM that can expand up to 8 GB and it includes two external storage slots using CFast technology with 8 GB ex-factory memory. A SATA RAID 1 controller on board in combination with Intel® rapid storage technology delivers better data protection. The CP2719 PC system provides network connection through its dual Gigabit Ethernet ports but users can buy an optional factory-supplied third port as well. Through USB 2.0 ports the system enables peripheral connection along with data transfer capabilities yet RS232 and RS422/RS485 serial connections can be an optional accessible feature.
The CP2719-0000 PC system needs 24 V DC power and works within the temperature range of 32 to 131 °F which suits challenging machine construction and plant engineering spaces.
