The CP2716-0000 from Beckhoff is a multi-touch machine control panel intended for industrial needs. Its configuration requirement is either Windows embedded Compact 7, Windows 7 or Windows 10 IoT and provides compatibility with automation control software TwinCAT.
The CP2716-0000 panel system features 15.6-inch screen with a 1366 x 768 pixels resolution for display and a multi-finger capacitive touchscreen is also present on this panel to provide users with accurate input control. Its display uses tough glass material while the housing consists of aluminum material for enhanced strength and decreased system weight. The front side of CP2716 panel system achieves IP65 ratings for dust and water jet protection but its rear side only meets IP20 standards for indoor use. The device functions using a 24 V DC electrical power framework with an Intel Celeron ULV 827E 1.4 GHz processor. It has a 3½-inch motherboard as well as a built-in graphic adapter. The CP2716 panel system offers two ports consisting of one DVI-D port for internal display plus an extra DVI-I connector for external monitor connection and supports an upgradation in the RAM capacity of the system from its initial 2 GB DDR3 specification up to 8 GB. Internal storage of the CP2716 panel system comes from a 4 GB CFast card.
