Product Description:
The CP2613-0000 is a panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff and delivered within the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines an industrial computer with an integrated display and is intended to run automation software, act as a local HMI, and exchange real-time data with field devices over Ethernet-based buses. By embedding processing capability at the machine level, the unit removes the need for a separate controller in compact installations and streamlines diagnostics and parameter entry on the plant floor.
Power input flexibility is provided by a nominal supply of 24 VDC and an acceptable range from 20.4 VDC to 28.8 VDC, allowing the PC to ride through typical low-voltage dips and high-voltage excursions found in control cabinets. Network connectivity is handled through a standard 10/100BASE-T interface for general Ethernet traffic and a dedicated EtherCAT RJ45 jack for deterministic I/O updates; keeping the two ports separate prevents cyclic fieldbus traffic from being delayed by non-real-time communication. The electronics support a maximum relative humidity of 95%, so the system can operate in humid processing areas without internal condensation when correctly sealed.
The rear panel has two USB 2.0 connectors that accept removable drives or service peripherals, while a legacy RS-232 port allows integration with barcode readers or serial sensors still used in older equipment. The front bezel carries an IP65 rating, providing dust-tight construction and resistance to water jets, whereas the housing behind the mounting plane is limited to IP20 for simplified heat dissipation. Continuous operation is permissible at temperatures up to 55 °C, and the unit withstands vibration of 0.5 G and shock levels of 5 G for 30 ms, meeting the operational needs of many packaging, printing, and assembly machines.
