Product Description:
The CB3064-0001 is an industrial PC motherboard manufactured by Beckhoff as part of the CB Modular Motherboards series. Serving as the logic core in automation controllers, it combines processor, memory, and fieldbus connectivity on a single card so that motion control, data acquisition, and visualization functions can run in one compact platform. The board is intended for panel PCs and embedded stations where tight integration and deterministic response are required on factory floors and in machine controllers.
With dimensions of 102 x 147 mm, the board fits 3.5-inch carrier enclosures common in distributed control nodes. It is powered from a 5 V ±5% backplane feed, eliminating the need for additional regulators. An Intel Q170 chipset provides PCI Express, SATA, and graphics lanes, while two SO-DIMM260 sockets accept DDR4-2133 modules with capacity up to 32 GB for real-time virtualization tasks. Stable operation is maintained from 0 °C to +60 °C, making fanless cabinet installation feasible. For high-bandwidth peripherals, the layout offers 1 x4 Gen3 or 4 x1 Gen3 PCIe links. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports permit redundant Industrial Ethernet rings, four SATA connectors host local storage, and dual display outputs support resolutions up to 1920 × 1200 over DVI or 3840 × 2160 through HDMI or DisplayPort.
The four SATA headers sustain 6 Gb/s transfers, and firmware supports RAID modes 0/1/5/10 so drives can be arranged for redundancy or striping without extra hardware. A total of 11 USB connections—seven internal and four external—accommodate HMI touchscreens, service dongles, and sensor hubs. Eight GPIO lines enable direct relay or PLC triggering, while the two network ports handle supervisory control traffic. These interfaces support local storage, display connectivity, and peripheral expansion in compact control systems.
