Beckhoff CB Motherboard CB3053-00 is a new design of 3.5-inch form factor motherboard for embedded and mobile systems, where energy efficiency and miniaturization are critical factors. It is incorporated with Intel® Atom™ Z510 or Z530 processors ensuring the end user a strong but efficient core that can support the current and advancing requirements of embedded systems. The board is equipped with an incorporated DDR2-533 SDRAM memory socket that might take up to 2 GB of RAM, which should be enough to run most of the necessary applications.
Perhaps the most attractive aspect of the CB3053-00 is its low heat generating aspect which is attributable to Intel’s Menlow® platform that does not include the use of a fan.
