Within an automation cell, it executes deterministic control logic, collects process data, and bridges plant-floor networks to higher-level systems, making it a central node for real-time machine operation. Its fanless aluminum chassis minimizes maintenance and supports continuous 24/7 duty.
The housing measures 90 × 235 × 121 mm and has a mass of 2100 g, allowing it to fit in narrow cabinets without overloading the mounting rail. Internal electronics are powered by a nominal input of 24 V DC. An enclosure classification of IP20 protects against accidental finger contact but requires installation in a protected cabinet.
