Product Description:
Beckhoff produces the C6930-1105-0050 fanless industrial PC within the C6 Industrial PC Units series. This unit serves as the central control computer in automated machinery, running motion logic, visualization, and data logging tasks while interfacing directly with fieldbus and enterprise networks. By embedding x86 processing in a compact enclosure, it consolidates real-time control, edge analytics, and operator HMI functions in packaging, material-handling, and process equipment.
With a cabinet height of 235 mm, a width of 90 mm, and a depth of 121 mm, the PC can be mounted on DIN rails without obstructing adjacent devices. The slim profile simplifies ventilation paths and maintains clearance for I/O cabling. Its enclosure has an IP20 rating, indicating resistance to finger contact and dry dust inside closed control panels, so no additional housing is needed in standard control cabinets. Networking is handled through two Ethernet interfaces that support 100/1000BASE-T transmission rates, allowing simultaneous machine-level and plant-level communication. A single DVI-D port enables direct connection to high-resolution operator panels, while one RS-232 port remains available for legacy serial peripherals and service consoles.
The PC provides 4 USB 3.0 ports for hot-swappable drives, cameras, and maintenance keys, while 2 PCIe slots permit installation of specialized fieldbus or high-speed measurement cards. Power is supplied through an eight-pin connector rated for 8 A, and it accepts conductors up to 1.5 mm². The integrated UPS can deliver 2.5 A to downstream devices during power loss, keeping critical sensors alive. Hardware security is supported by fTPM 2.0, enabling encrypted key storage without external modules. Despite the onboard UPS and expansion options, the chassis weighs 2100 g, easing installation on lightweight machine frames and allowing retrofits in space-constrained cabinets.
