The C6930-0020 is an industrial PC manufactured by Beckhoff within the C6 Industrial PC Units series. Intended for control cabinet installation, it supplies deterministic processing for PLC logic, motion control, and data logging inside automated plants. Dual Gigabit Ethernet, legacy serial signaling, and a digital video interface allow the unit to act as both a fieldbus gateway and an operator terminal driver. Compact construction and passively cooled electronics let the computer mount near machinery where panel depth and ambient heat are limited.
The controller operates from a wide 22-30 V DC supply, permitting connection to standard 24 V power buses. It functions in ambient temperatures from 0 to +55 °C, covering most enclosure climates encountered on factory floors. An IP20 housing shields live parts from accidental contact and falling debris during indoor service. Four front-facing USB ports simplify data loading and HMI attachment, while two 2 × 100/1000BASE-T jacks create EtherCAT or TCP/IP links up to 100 m with Category 5e cabling. One DVI port drives a monitor, a single RS232 interface links to legacy instruments, and an fTPM 2.0 device secures boot integrity.
