Product Description:
The C6925-1009-0010 is a compact industrial PC manufactured by Beckhoff and supplied within the C6 Industrial PC Units series. Designed to act as a control platform inside electrical cabinets, it provides deterministic execution of PLC, motion, and visualization tasks that coordinate drives, I/O stations, and factory networks. Its low-profile housing allows it to mount on DIN rails close to machines, keeping fieldbus wiring and display connections short to help minimize electrical noise.
Thermal management is handled through a passive heat sink, eliminating fans and reducing mechanical wear. Network integration is provided by two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces routed through RJ-45 jacks; each port has an independent MAC address and can connect to a separate control or plant network without an additional switch. Overcurrent protection can be coordinated with cabinet breakers because the incoming supply has a maximum fuse rating of 16 A. All components are arranged on a compact 3.5-inch motherboard, so the CPU, memory, and storage remain within a small thermal envelope while leaving room for front-panel connectors. This arrangement also keeps the network connections readily accessible when the computer is installed among other cabinet-mounted control equipment.
Power reaches the unit through an 8-pole plug that carries the 24 VDC supply and signal contacts for a UPS or remote on-and-off control. The enclosure meets IP20 requirements, so the computer must be installed inside a protected cabinet while its connectors remain readily accessible for setup and maintenance. Four front-mounted USB sockets comply with the USB 2.0 standard, allowing service drives, HMI touch panels, or Wi-Fi adapters to connect without external hubs. Monitors or KVM extenders connect to the integrated DVI-I interface, which carries digital and analog video signals for legacy and modern displays. The front-facing placement of the USB and video connections allows peripheral cables to be routed without opening or rearranging the computer housing.
