Product Description:
The C6925-0030 is an industrial PC manufactured by Beckhoff within the C6 Industrial PC Units series. It serves as a compact control platform that executes automation tasks, manages local I/O, and communicates with higher-level systems through standard Ethernet and fieldbus interfaces. Its enclosure is designed for cabinet installation where space is limited, and the unit provides deterministic processing for motion, logic, and visualization without the need for additional fan assemblies.
The system relies on a 24 VDC supply, and under typical runtime it draws 0.5 A while a system fuse up to 16 A protects the incoming line. A dedicated 1.5 mm² power lead terminates on an 8-pole connector for secure power connection. Because the unit uses passive cooling, no moving parts are added, which lowers maintenance demands and reduces airborne particle intake. The motherboard follows the 3.5-inch form factor, allowing low-profile installation and direct mounting to the aluminum housing, which contributes to uniform heat dissipation. Rated to IP20, the chassis guards internal electronics from accidental finger contact and settled dust, but it is intended for clean panels kept below the 95% non-condensing humidity limit. With a mass of 1.85 kg, the unit can be mounted on light DIN rails without reinforcement.
Communication resources begin with 2 x RJ-45 sockets that share a Gigabit controller and support 10/100/1000BASE-T cabling for machine-level networks and uplinks. The front panel includes 4 x USB 2.0 ports for scanners, flash drives, or service keyboards, while an RS232 serial interface on a 9-pin D-Sub enables legacy device integration. A separate 9-pin SUB-D fieldbus connector allows selection of specific protocols through Beckhoff interface cards. Visual diagnostics or operator displays are driven by a 1 x DVI-I output that carries both analog and digital video, so modern flat panels or older VGA monitors can be used without adapters.
