The C6920-1107-0050 is a compact industrial PC produced by Beckhoff within the C6 Industrial PC Units series. It serves as a control platform for machine-level automation, combining processing, communication, and visualization tasks in one enclosure. By integrating directly with fieldbus networks and higher-level controllers, the unit supports deterministic control of drives, I/O stations, and supervisory HMI systems on the factory floor. It can serve as the central computing node for packaging, handling, or assembly systems that need coordinated control and local visualization from one platform.
This model operates from a 24 VDC supply through an 8-pole power connector rated for 16 A. Two internal cooling fans move air across the embedded motherboard and expansion cards, while an IP20 housing protects the electronics inside switch cabinets. Network connectivity is provided by 2 x 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet interfaces for real-time communication and plant data exchange, and the front panel includes 4 x USB 2.0 ports for removable media and peripheral devices. A compact 3.5-inch embedded motherboard keeps heat generation low, allowing the internal airflow path to maintain uniform temperatures under full CPU load. The spring-clamp terminals in the I/O block accept 1.5 mm² wiring for straightforward panel integration.
