Product Description:
The C6920-1035-0030 is a fan-cooled industrial PC unit manufactured by Beckhoff and assigned to the C6 Industrial PC Units series. This DIN-rail-mounted computer provides central processing for machine automation by combining deterministic control, supervisory visualization, and fieldbus communication in one housing. The device can serve as the primary runtime target for TwinCAT or other real-time software, allowing motion axes, I/O stations, and safety modules to be coordinated from a single industrial platform. Its slim aluminum enclosure fits into shallow control cabinets where space and thermal capacity are limited.
Two independent Ethernet controllers each support 10/100/1000BASE-T, allowing segregated machine and enterprise networks without an external switch. The protection class of IP20 indicates that the housing is finger-safe and that all connectors must be installed inside a closed cabinet. Four front-accessible USB sockets provide 4 high-speed channels that comply with the 2.0 standard, enabling local keyboard, storage, or service dongle attachment. For uninterruptible operation, the matching UPS feed returns 27 V to the PC so the system can perform an orderly shutdown during a mains loss. Mechanical resilience is addressed by a shock resistance of 5 G, permitting installation on moving gantries or press frames where vibration and impacts are present.
During accidental impacts, the electronics stay operational for up to 30 ms of half-sine shock, and an eight-pole power plug with 8 pins consolidates the supply connection in a single connector. The unit can operate in climates up to 95% RH non-condensing. A pair of internal fans maintains airflow across the CPU and chipset. One RS-232 serial channel, a single DVI-I video interface, one fieldbus slot, and duplicated Ethernet ports provide connectivity for legacy devices and deterministic networks.
