The C6920-1012-0010 industrial computer is produced by Beckhoff as part of the C6 Industrial PC Units series. Housed in a compact metal enclosure, this PC is intended to mount on DIN rail inside control cabinets and act as the central logic and visualization node for automated machinery. It runs real-time control software, links field I/O, and forwards data to supervisory systems, forming the interface between shop-floor sensors and higher-level networks. Integrated fans and edge connectors simplify installation, and the hardware platform combines processing, storage, and communication functions in one device while reducing panel space.
Electrical input is a stabilized 24 VDC that enters through an 8-pole supply plug sized for conductors up to 1.5 mm². The system board follows the 3.5-Inch form factor, allowing compact stacking of CPU, RAM, and storage while leaving room for two integrated cooling fans. Network connectivity is supplied by 2 x RJ-45 BASE-T Ethernet sockets that support segmented machine and plant communication.
