The C6920-0010 is an industrial PC manufactured by Beckhoff and supplied as part of the C6 Industrial PC Units series. It provides deterministic control and data processing for PLC, motion, and HMI tasks in automated machinery. The housing is intended for DIN-rail or mounting-plate integration inside a control cabinet and combines compact dimensions with interfaces required for EtherCAT and conventional field networks.
In its basic configuration, the computer weighs 1.9 kg, allowing it to be mounted without additional support brackets in many cabinet layouts. The enclosure is rated IP20, so it must operate in a closed cabinet protected from dust and accidental contact. Two axial cooling fans move air across the internal heat sinks, and their double-ball-bearing design helps reduce friction during continuous service. Processing electronics are arranged on a 3.5-inch industrial motherboard that balances footprint with expansion capability. Network access for high-throughput control tasks is provided by an Ethernet X102 port rated at 10/100/1000BASE-T, while legacy devices can connect through a dedicated RS232 serial interface.
