The C6650-0040 is an industrial PC manufactured by Beckhoff and belongs to the C6 Industrial PC Units series. It is intended for cabinet installation in machine-level automation, where it operates as the main computing node for motion control, HMI, and data acquisition tasks inside production cells and process lines. Its cabinet-mounted design keeps processing, visualization, and communication functions in one enclosure for centralized machine control.
An Intel Pentium processor running at 2.3 GHz with two cores drives the unit, and it starts with 2 GB DDR3L of RAM to host the operating system and control software. A 1 TB 3.5-inch HDD supplies local storage for recipes, logs, and system images. Power is accepted from standard factory mains at 100–240 V AC, while the housing carries an IP20 rating for use in protected electrical enclosures. Networking is handled by two 100/1000BASE-T Ethernet interfaces, and field devices can be connected through four RS-232 serial ports.
