Product Description:
The C6525-1030-0050 is an industrial PC produced by Beckhoff for the C6 Industrial PC Units series. As a compact control platform, the unit can replace conventional PLC hardware and host HMI, motion-control, and data-logging tasks inside a single enclosure mounted directly on a machine frame. Its fanless architecture allows deployment near process equipment without introducing moving parts that could collect dust or require periodic service. This configuration is suitable for machine installations where available mounting space is limited and dependable operation is required near production equipment.
Heat is removed through a passive aluminum housing that measures 330 × 275 × 82 mm, allowing cabinet space to be allocated accurately. A DVI interface connects the CPU board to external operator panels, while two Gigabit Ethernet ports carry fieldbus or IT traffic at 100/1000BASE-T. These ports use Intel i210 and i219 controllers, providing hardware checksum offload and wake-on-LAN support. The enclosure has a protection rating of IP65 outside and IP20 inside; its exterior withstands washdown sprays, while the interior remains accessible for wiring. Power entry is protected by a 16 A input fuse, and the terminal block accepts conductors as small as 1.5 mm² for compatibility with common flexible machine cables.
The rear I/O panel provides four USB 2.0 ports for storage devices, cameras, or service peripherals. Legacy devices connect through a single RS-232 channel, which shares the board-level interrupt map with other serial peripherals. The DC supply connects through an 8-pole connector that carries logic power and remote on-and-off contacts. Under standby conditions, the electronics draw only 0.5 A, allowing a suitable uninterruptible power supply to keep the control program active during brief power interruptions. The available network and peripheral connections support communication with operator interfaces, automation equipment, and external storage devices without requiring a separate expansion enclosure.
