Product Description:
The C6525-1019-0050 industrial PC is produced by Beckhoff and belongs to the C6 Industrial PC Units series. Designed for installation in machine control cabinets, the unit serves as the central processor for PLC logic, HMI tasks, and data acquisition in automated lines. By combining PC-based control with deterministic real-time software, it allows motion axes, fieldbus networks, and enterprise connections to be coordinated from a single platform, reducing panel space in distributed manufacturing environments.
The enclosure measures 330 mm in width, 275 mm in height, and only 82 mm in depth, which lets the PC fit shallow switchgear while leaving clearance for airflow. External sheet-metal surfaces are rated IP65, and the interior electronics are housed behind an IP20 shield that matches standard cabinet protection classes. A 16 A time-lag fuse sits on the 24 V DC input to isolate faults, and pluggable terminals accept supply conductors up to 1.5 mm². During normal operation the power-status branch draws 0.5 A, while the integrated UPS circuit can source 2.0 A so the system can save process data when input power fails.
Front-panel connectivity supports both modern and legacy field devices. Two RJ-45 sockets provide 2 Ethernet ports that auto-negotiate at 100/1000BASE-T for high-speed deterministic networks or dual-home architectures. Four Type-A receptacles follow the USB 2.0 standard for service dongles, HMI touchscreens, or data logging drives. A nine-pin D-sub implements RS232 so barcode scanners or older drives can still interface with the controller. Conformal coating and sealed connectors permit reliable operation in ambient moisture levels up to 95%, provided condensation is avoided, allowing the PC to run continuously in humid production areas without affecting signal integrity.
