The C6525-1013-0050 industrial PC is produced by Beckhoff within the C6 Industrial PC Units series. Designed for cabinet or arm mounting, the unit provides a computing platform that hosts real-time operating systems, PLC runtime, and visualization software in automated production cells. Its hardware consolidates control, motion, and SCADA functions, reducing panel space and cabling compared with separate controllers. Standard interfaces such as RS-232, dual Ethernet, and USB allow direct connections to drives, warehouse networks, and service laptops without additional gateway modules.
Dual Ethernet controllers support 100/1000BASE-T, giving the PC gigabit bandwidth for industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT. The unit has two independent RJ45 network ports, allowing the machine and office networks to remain segmented. It also provides four downstream USB receptacles for the simultaneous attachment of keyboards, recovery media, and maintenance dongles. Each port supports USB 2.0 signaling and peripheral throughput of up to 480 Mbit/s. Graphics are routed through a DVI connector, allowing compatible TFT touch panels to operate at their native resolutions without converters.
The enclosure provides IP65 / IP20 protection, blocking dust and water jets at the operator side while permitting natural convection within the installation. Its overall dimensions are 330 × 275 × 82 mm, allowing the panel to fit into shallow control cabinets or arm enclosures. During handling, the unit tolerates shocks of up to 5 G for 30 ms without damage, and it remains operational at ambient humidity levels of up to 95 percent. The aluminum housing has a mass of 4.74 kg, which supports secure installation without placing excessive load on a mounting arm. Power distribution is protected by a 16 A fuse, while a 0.5 A status load input and a 2 A UPS output support controlled shutdown sequences.
