Beckhoff's C6 Industrial PC Series includes the C6525-0030 model, a fanless integrated industrial PC designed for harsh working environments. This tiny unit is designed without any revolving elements to increase reliability and need less maintenance.
This model has been optimized to perform optimally within a temperature range of 45 degrees centigrade, making it excellent for usage in industrial settings. The device is equipped with an Intel® Celeron® or Core™ i3/i5/i7 processor and a 3½-inch motherboard, allowing for varied applications. The system is fueled by a 24 V DC power supply, with the possibility of adding an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to provide additional data protection and allow the system to function during power outages. The C6525-0030 also offers flexible storage choices, with two bays for hard disks, SSDs, or Cfast cards and an onboard SATA RAID 1 controller for data mirroring to improve data protection. The PC also has two expansion slots for normal PC plug-in cards, making it easy to upgrade the entire system. A dual-Gigabit-Ethernet module with an EtherCAT controller handles networking to enable communication in industrial networks.
The unit contains a Beckhoff PCIe fieldbus card port, which allows it to enhance its networking capabilities. The C6525-0030 design incorporates an additional 58 mm depth to the chassis hood for PCI card support and provides a direct air outlet to the surrounding environment without the need for fans to cool the components. All connectors are on the top side of the housing for easy installation and arrangement in control cabinets. A warranty of one year comes standard with this product at Wake Industrial.
