The C6525-0030 industrial computer is produced by Beckhoff and belongs to the C6 Industrial PC Units series. As a control-class PC, it provides deterministic processing for PLC logic, motion sequences, and HMI tasks on the factory floor. It fits into control cabinets or machine frames where centralized machine control and operator visualization are handled by one unit. This arrangement helps keep the control hardware compact while still supporting the computing and interface functions needed in automated equipment.
A regulated supply of 24 VDC powers the motherboard, solid-state storage, and integrated UPS circuit, so the unit can be tied directly to common control cabinet supplies without an external converter. Two Ethernet adapters are provided through 2x RJ45 sockets, and their 100/1000BASE-T line rate supports both fieldbus traffic and office-level networking. Four downstream ports are available through 4x USB 2.0 connections for touch panels, service keys, or data loggers, with up to 500 mA available per port. The graphics controller provides 1x DVI output for digital video to local HMIs at full panel resolution.
Legacy serial devices remain serviceable through the dedicated 1x RS232 interface, keeping barcode readers or weigh scales connected without protocol adapters. During installation, the aluminum housing seals to the machine wall, with the external side rated IP65 while the interior remains ventilated at IP20 for component access. The split enclosure layout keeps the machine-facing side protected while allowing cabinet-side servicing. A mass of 4.74 kg and a height of 275 mm support DIN-rail or plate mounting without reinforcing the panel, and the 82 mm depth leaves clearance for airflow behind bus cables. Wiring is carried out with conductors up to 1.5 mm², while the 0.5 A status output and 2.0 A UPS channel provide auxiliary power for sensors or a backup drive. Operation is permitted in enclosures where relative humidity does not exceed 95%, and the 330 mm width aligns with standard 19-inch rack rows.
