The C6525-0010 industrial PC is produced by Beckhoff within the C6 Industrial PC Units series. It serves as a compact controller that executes motion algorithms, HMI tasks, and data collection routines directly on the factory floor. The unit is intended for mounting close to the machine so that fieldbus, sensor, and drive links remain short, lowering latency and wiring effort. By integrating computing power, storage, and multiple field connections in a single enclosure, the device acts as the central node in distributed automation cells.
The C6525-0010 accepts a regulated supply of 24 VDC through an 8-pin terminal that accommodates conductors up to 1.5 mm². An inline fuse rated at 16 A protects the internal DC-DC converters against short-circuit or overload conditions. Cooling is completely passive, so the aluminum housing dissipates heat without fans while keeping the interior free of airborne contamination.
