The C6350-0040 industrial PC is produced by Beckhoff within the C6 Industrial PC Units series. The model functions as a panel-independent controller that consolidates processing, fieldbus communication, and data storage for automated production lines, packaging machines, and test benches. By embedding PC technology in a DIN-rail form, it replaces separate PLC, motion controller, and data acquisition hardware with one platform, which helps keep cabinet layouts compact in space-limited control enclosures.
It is driven by an Intel Core Duo T2500 2.0 GHz processor that supports multitasking of real-time control threads and background analysis. The system includes 1 GB DDR2 RAM, giving enough volatile memory for the operating system and user programs without swapping. Mass storage is handled by an 80 GB, 2.5-inch HDD, supplying capacity for recipes, trend files, and boot images. Network connectivity is available through 1 x 10/100BASE-T + 1 x 10/100/1000BASE-T, enabling separation of the machine network from the plant backbone. For removable peripherals and service tools, the front panel carries 8 x USB 2.0 connectors. Video is rendered by an Intel GMA950 adapter and leaves the unit via a DVI-I port to a monitor or multi-touch panel.
