Product Description:
The C6350-0000 industrial PC is produced by Beckhoff and belongs to the C6 Industrial PC Units series. This compact panel-mount computer acts as the control core for PLC logic, visualization, and data collection in automated machinery. Its panel-mount format keeps the computing hardware close to the controlled process, which reduces the distance between the controller and connected machine interfaces. By integrating standard PC architecture with industrial connectors and temperature tolerance, the unit can run TwinCAT or other real-time software directly on the machine base.
It is built around a Socket 370 motherboard that accepts Pentium III-class processors. The factory-installed memory is 128 MB SDRAM, and the board can be expanded to 512 MB so larger HMI or database tasks can be loaded without swapping. Embedded graphics draw from 2 MB of dedicated video RAM, which is suitable for basic operator interfaces on standard VGA panels. Network connectivity is provided through a single 1 x 10/100Base-T port that supports communication over TCP/IP. Two rear USB ports allow flash drives or configuration dongles to be connected, while separate PS/2 connectors accept a keyboard and mouse for local setup.
System reliability in the plant environment is supported by a regulated 24 V DC input that can be tied to machine power supplies and UPS modules. Heat tolerance is specified between 0 to 55 °C, allowing cabinet installation beside drives and relays without additional cooling. Machine-level data exchange with legacy controllers is available through 2 x RS232 ports, and program files are retained on a 20 GB 2.5-inch IDE HDD that withstands vibration better than desktop drives. This compact IPC fits packaging lines, test stands, and motion systems that need local storage, serial communication, and dependable operation in control cabinets.
