The C6240-0070 industrial PC is manufactured by Beckhoff and belongs to the C6 Industrial PC Units series. It is intended as the primary control computer inside automated machinery where real-time motion, logic, and user interface tasks run on a single platform. By integrating an x86-based processor with field and office network connections, the unit bridges production-floor devices to supervisory systems, making it suitable for PLC replacement, data acquisition, and HMI hosting within compact cabinets.
The metal chassis measures a width of 430 mm, a depth of 274 mm, and a height of 170 mm, allowing installation in 19-inch racks or machine enclosures with limited floor space. Despite its compact footprint, the computer weighs 12.3 kg, a mass that stabilizes the assembly against vibration from nearby actuators.
