The C6130 industrial PC is produced by Beckhoff and belongs to the C6 Industrial PC Units series. It is a cabinet-mounted computing platform that hosts real-time TwinCAT control software, supervisory HMI, and data logging functions for automated production lines. By combining CPU, storage, and communication interfaces in a single metal housing, the device supplies deterministic control performance while reducing panel wiring compared with separate PLC and embedded PC arrangements.
Power demand is moderate; the system draws 100 W, so standard 24 V DC cabinet supplies can feed the motherboard and attached drives without oversizing. The steel enclosure is rated IP20, which provides basic touch protection but requires installation inside a sealed control cabinet for protection from dust and moisture. During transport or maintenance, the chassis endures shocks up to 5 G for 30 ms, helping prevent disk or circuit board damage from accidental impacts. The system tolerates up to 95% non-condensing humidity when it is installed in a suitable cabinet that prevents condensation. Front-panel service access is provided by 3 × USB 2.0 connectors for keyboards, backup media, or software updates.
