By combining CPU, storage, and communication interfaces in a single metal housing, the device supplies deterministic control performance while reducing panel wiring compared with separate PLC and embedded PC arrangements.
Power demand is moderate; the system draws 100 W, so standard 24 V DC cabinet supplies can feed the motherboard and attached drives without oversizing. The steel enclosure is rated IP20, which provides basic touch protection but requires installation inside a sealed control cabinet for protection from dust and moisture.
