The C6030-0060 industrial PC is produced by Beckhoff as part of the C6 Industrial PC Units series. It serves as a compact computing node for machine control, real-time data processing, and supervisory visualization tasks in automated lines. Its design combines x86 processing hardware with industrial connectors so it can mount directly inside a control cabinet and communicate with drives, I/O terminals, and higher-level networks without additional gateway devices.
The system is supplied from a nominal bus of 24 VDC, and the power plug is rated for 8 A, allowing the motherboard, storage media, and attached peripherals to start reliably during inrush events. Four independent Ethernet sockets operate at 100/1000 Mbit/s, and each port can be cabled up to 100 m to switches, vision cameras, or PLC networks. The screwless terminal accepts conductors up to 1.5 mm², which keeps field wiring compatible with common control-cabinet cable sizes. For service connections, the front panel provides four USB receptacles that follow the USB 3.0 standard and can source 900 mA per port for scanners or flash drives. Environmental ingress is limited by an IP20 housing, so the unit is intended for clean, dry enclosures rather than exposed machine areas.
Physical integration is simplified by the compact envelope of 132 × 133 × 76 mm, which lets the controller share a DIN rail with breakers and relays. Cybersecurity is enhanced by the onboard fTPM 2.0 secure element that stores encryption keys for secure boot and network authentication. Visual outputs are handled through two DisplayPort interfaces that provide the auxiliary channel at 500 mA and 3.3 V for monitor EDID exchange. These ports support multi-screen HMIs, while the minimum input threshold of 22 VDC helps prevent brownout resets during battery-backed operation.
