The C5102-1039-0020 is a control-cabinet industrial PC manufactured by Beckhoff as part of the C5 Control Cabinets series. It is intended for rack-based automation centers where a dedicated computer coordinates motion axes, fieldbus traffic, and process visualization. This arrangement allows control, communication, and display tasks to be handled from a single enclosure inside the cabinet, keeping the computing layer centralized in automated equipment.

The enclosure uses a 19-inch rack-mount layout and measures 177 mm in height, 483 mm in width, and 449 mm in depth. Inside, 6 PCI/ISA card slots allow additional interface or motion cards to be installed without an external chassis, which expands connectivity within the same rack space. Network access is provided through a single 1 x RJ-45 10/100BASE-T port for direct connection to plant Ethernet segments. During operation, the housing meets IP60 protection, and when stored the system carries a separate IP20 classification. Continuous service is permitted in environments up to 95% relative humidity, and the cabinet also includes Line In, Line Out, and microphone jacks for audio feedback or alarm tones.

Front and rear I/O coverage includes a combined total of 4 rear, 2 front USB ports, and these connections follow the USB 2.0 standard for peripherals such as scanners or service drives. Legacy video is handled through a VGA, 15-pin Sub-D connector, allowing direct connection to compatible industrial monitors without an adapter. Traditional parallel printing is supported through a Centronics interface, while two PS/2 ports accept a keyboard and mouse pair and dual RS-232 links connect to PLCs or barcode scanners. The separation of front and rear connectors supports both permanent wiring and temporary device access during normal cabinet use.
