The BC9191-0000 is a universal Ethernet based bus coupler suitable for use in industrial applications and building systems. Data handling is high with a capacity of 64 fieldbus bytes and about 512 input and output bytes. This makes it useful especially in systems that require considerable data traffic. The device has 2 RJ45 Ethernet ports (switched) which enhances network connection and allows daisy chaining of the devices. The BC9191-0000 device is also fitted with TwinCAT ADS and supports Modbus TCP making it possible to operate in an extended range of automation devices.
Their BC9191–0000 characteristics regarding the inputs and outputs are: 3 digital inputs and 3 voltage inputs in 0 – 10 V range what allows a majority of sensors application. Dedicated Pt/Ni1000 inputs are also available to measure temperature in the range of minus twenty to plus sixty degrees Celsius with a maximum resistance of ten k Ω.
