Product Description:
The BC9050 is a model from the BC Bus Terminal Series BC Bus Series by Beckhoff and is a compact and flexible control device for industrial automation applications. It has strong software capabilities through TwinCAT, a sophisticated software interface, or Ethernet, thus being suitable for many industrial settings and functions.
This unit has 48 kbytes of program memory so that it can handle a lot of control functions, and has 32 kbytes of data memory for storing operational data. Besides, there are 2 kbytes of remanent data memory, which allows storing important data that should not be lost at a power failure. The BC9050 runs with one PLC task, it has approximately 1.5 ms of cycle time with 1000 instructions without including the I/O cycle time through the K-bus, which proves its capability in processing tasks in the shortest time possible. It accepts the following programming languages according to the IEC 61131-3 standard: the Instruction List (IL), Ladder Diagram (LD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), Sequential Function Chart (SFC), and Structured Text (ST) thus providing great flexibility in the development. Modifications are allowed online, that is, during the execution of the program, changes can be introduced to the program since it is a valuable tool to reduce potential downtime and increase productivity. The controller can control up to 64 bus terminals on its own and it is possible to control up to 255 bus terminals by adding a K-bus extension.
For Fieldbus communications, it supports up to 512 bytes for both input and output and processes images up to 2048 bytes each for input and output. The BC9050 can manage digital and analog inputs/outputs up to 2,040 and 512 respectively, which makes it suitable for big automation systems. It also supports TwinCAT ADS and Modbus TCP protocols with data transfer rates of 10/100 Mbit/s with automatic detection of the transfer rate to guarantee high connectivity and data management. Available at Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty.
