Product Description:
The BC8150 Bus Terminal Controller offers flexible connectivity for industrial automation. It communicates through an RS232 D-sub bus interface, allowing for integration in numerous current systems. This terminal supports up to 64 bus terminals, which can be extended to 255 with K-bus extension, meeting requirements for both small and large scale operations. This controller is designed to handle a substantial amount of data, and particularly, it can process up to 1,020 digital peripheral signals and up to 128 analog peripheral signals, thus making it suitable for complex control tasks through various industrial applications.
Operating with a 24 V DC power supply, the BC8150 draws a normal input current of 320 mA max., but it has a starting current of 2.5 x continuous current, meaning it can handle the initial power surge without problems. The controller further delivers 1750 mA for the K-bus, with power contacts supporting max. 24 V DC/max. 10 A, allowing for a stable and robust system setup. The device uses the KS8000 protocol, an open serial protocol that can select Modbus RTU/Modbus ASCII through an address switch and serial ADS enhancing its adaptability to various communication standards through the industry.
Designed for stable performance in harsh conditions, the BC8150 operates at an operating temperature ranging from -25…+60°C, thus making it ideal for use through various industrial locations. Its compact design does not sacrifice functionality making it suitable in installations of limited space offering numerous functions for efficient industrial control. This bus terminal controller assures consistent performance with a stable power supply, versatile data processing abilities and sturdy construction for reliable communication and management through demanding automation setups which is an advantage through the industrial world.
