Product Description:
The BC2000 is a Bus Terminal that is part of the BC Bus Terminals series. The terminal is a product of the Beckhoff and it is best used for industrial automation practices.
The BC2000 Bus Terminal has an input current of 70 mA + 500 mA which indicates base current draw and scaling based on connected terminals. The module communicates via Z1100 optical fiber which offers high immunity to electromagnetic interference and supports long distance and high speed transfer. It is suitable for standard industrial environments without requiring additional cooling or heating measures. It can process 1000 instructions in 3 milliseconds which includes Input and output scanning that makes it suitable for medium speed automation tasks. It supports a significant number of analog signals which is useful for sensors and actuators requiring variable data input and output. It has an isolation capacity of 500 Veff which helps protect sensitive electronics from high voltage faults or noise between power and control circuits. The module has 512 bytes remanent flags which maintains status or variables across power cycles. The maximum current that can be sourced to connected terminals is 1750 mA.
The BC Bus Terminals series module has total 64 bus terminals that can be connected to it. It supports all IEC 61131-3 standard languages which offers flexibility for different user preferences in PLC programming.
