By combining power electronics with fast encoder evaluation, the unit converts low-voltage control commands into phase-accurate motor currents, enabling deterministic positioning within tightly coupled automation cells.

During continuous operation, the drive provides a rated output current of 8 A, which is the highest RMS phase current available without thermal derating. For short acceleration intervals, the peak output current rises to 20 A, giving the mechanical load extra torque headroom.
