The AX5911-0000 is an auxiliary board for Beckhoff's AX5000 servo drives whose task is to allow quick and easy plug of several units on a multi-axis system. It contains other basic features like mains on input, DC link, volts 24 control voltage and braking voltage. The AX5911 is designed specifically for servo motors with maximum rated currents of 40 A to facilitate the exchange of power and data between servo drives.
The modularity of the device's AX-Bridge system permits using plug-in power supply and connection modules making it easy and quick to configure multi-axis applications without the use of any tools. The AX5911 contains built-in busbars which are designed to effect connections in a safe and clear way whereby high currents of up to 85 A can be carried giving a great reduction in the troublesome task of connecting power, DC links and brake voltage between servo motors.
Moreover, the AX-Bridge actively redirects and manages the link as well as the brake energy from all the broadband connections.
