The AX5206-0000-0010 is a two-channel digital servo drive produced by Beckhoff in the AX Digital Servo Drives series. It rectifies three-phase mains power into controlled DC and pulse-width-modulated outputs that regulate synchronous and induction motors in automated machinery. By coordinating torque, speed, and position loops, the unit provides deterministic motion control for packaging equipment, assembly stations, and material-handling axes.

The drive draws up to an apparent power of 8.3 kVA from a 400 V supply, indicating the maximum complex load the input stage and rectifier can handle during dynamic cycles. Energy is buffered in a DC link sized at 470 µF, allowing the intermediate circuit to absorb regenerative currents without excessive voltage rise. Under normal three-phase operation, each channel delivers 6 A continuously, while short bursts can reach 13 A to accelerate loads, and current regulation is synchronized to prevent cross-channel saturation.
