The AX5203_LT00.3 is a twin channel digital servo actuator which belongs to a class of Beckhoff's digital servo drive AX series. It has rated supply voltage of 3 x 100…480 V AC ±10% which is perfect for industrial usage with motion control applications that are robust and versatile.
This module provides a rated output current of 3 A per channel with a peak output current of 10 A per channel for peak performance and dynamic load conditions. The available DC link voltage has a maximum of 875 V DC which facilitates effective power distribution to the various systems interconnected. The motor feedback options supported by the AX5203_LT00.3 include SinCos 1 Vpp, resolver, Encoders such as EnDat 2.1, Hiperface, BiSS B and OPT among others allowing to position and move the motor precisely. This thus renders the module to be used with different types of motors for diverse operations that are feedback controls.
The actuator uses Ethernet as the system bus and it operates in a real time environment hence all data is rapidly accessed and synchronized. It also complies with SERCOS™ protocol specification for servo drives as per IEC 61800-7-204 (SoE) on integration of motion control for standard devices. The dimensions of this servo actuator rapidly facilitate 274mm in height, 232mm in depth and 92mm in width making it usable in installation is space constrained interiors. It works in an ambient temperature 0 to +50°C, and has CE, cULus, and EAC certificates of conformity which are a true promulgation of international norms.
