Product Description:
Coming from the Beckhoff's AX5000 family, the AX5203 is a two-channel servo drive that combines high power(s) and high performance flexibility with low-cost in the designs suitable for motion control features. Availability of integrated components like power supply unit, EMC filter and DC link molds makes installation easier and improves performance. The drive allows for the use of cascaded control loops, thus allowing for very fast and dynamic positioning which suits applications where high performance and good control are paramount.
The rated supply voltage for the AX5203 is 3 x 100…480 V AC ±10% and it can operate at a DC link voltage not exceeding 875 V DC. The rated output current for each of its two channels is 3 A while the peak output current is 10 A providing a good range of control options toward the motor. It has also been optimized for use with different types of motors including synchronous, linear, torque, asynchronous, voice coil, which allows a multi feedback hub incorporating SinCos 1 Vpp, Resolver, EnDat 2.1, Hiperface, BiSS B, OCT feedback systems.
The connection power, DC link and 24 V DC control voltage of multiple AX5000 devices using the AX-Bridge quick connection system in order to facilitate the assembly of multiple axis joints. Otherwise, using the EtherCAT system bus all devices are able to communicate together without any hitches eliminating the concern of device queue limits in instant control operations in industries. Safety requirements were built in managed AX58xx modules, which meet international safety accomplishment norms such as EN ISO 13849-1: 2015 (Cat. 4, PL e), IEC 61508: 2010 (SIL 3), EN 62061: 2005. With these features, the AX5203 is able to work in a number of fields where safety is a paramount concern.
