AX2010-AS is an industrial servo amplifier. It is designed for control for Beckhoff industrial motors. The amplifier uses real-time motor feedback to control motor speed, torque and position. It has a wide AC input range, and provides flexibility for operators with differing AC mains supplies. Single-phase AC power can be used for amplifier setup. Three-phase AC power is required for operation with connected loads. The power output rating of the AX2010-AS amplifier is 7 kVA. For AC mains at 50 Hertz, the acceptable input range is from 230 to 480 Volts. For AC mains at 60 Hertz, the acceptable input range is from 208 to 480 Volts. Rated output of the amplifier under specified ambient conditions is 10 Amps rms. The peak output can go up to 20 Amps rms.
Operating conditions specified by Beckhoff include 0 to 1000 meters site elevation and 0 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature. Relative humidity in the operating environment should not exceed 85%. The amplifier’s noise emission is always less than 45 db(A). Its enclosure provides protection according to IP20 protection class. This type of housing is designed for indoor use, and must be used outdoors only when installed inside a suitable industrial cabinet. The amplifier is generally installed in the vertical position. A built-in fan provides effective heat dissipation. A PC can be used to configure and set up the amplifier. A keypad and display on the unit can also be used for configuration.
