Product Description:
The AT2041-0250 motor modules are specialized components that allow the structures of the Beckhoff eXtended Transport System (XTS) to be made of curved or arched sections. They have a lot in common with the AT2040 motor modules, but the AT2041 modules have a permanent 5-meter connection cable for power and communication purposes. The fixed cable design enables a slimmer but more functional design in comparison to the use of a pluggable supply cable, thus ideal in such cases where space is minimal. Each module is 250 mm long, which also permits very precise shaping of system lengths as a segment of low voltage supply lines within an XTS system. The straight and curved track layouts can therefore be increased to maximum lengths of three meters per supply segment without power supply in addition of other motor modules.
One or several power supply segments are required for a complete XTS system, while multiple segments of various lengths can be accommodated in one system only depending on the kinematics and the quantity of movers. A limit of axial power supply length segment may be placed with respect to the system electrical power rating and the number of movers on a specific track. In order to accommodate various size guideways, at this period of time, all AT2041-0250 modules are equipped with a separate mechanical interface for the installation of the guide rails.
There is a variant of this motor module without this upper profile hole which facilitates cleaning and ensures the unit has an attractive shape, with its black top surface further enhancing its design.
