Product Description:

The Beckhoff AM8051-1G21-9000 is from the series of high-performance synchronous servo motors and is designed for use in powerful applications of many industries. It is a permanently magnetic three-phase synchronous motor, and is suitable for constant running systems. It uses AC voltage within the range of 100-480 V with a rated power output capability of 2.30 kW. The rated speed is 5000 rpm, hence it has the capacity of working at high speed with high precision for the intended operations. It has 4.90 Nm of stall torque and 17.8 Nm of maximum torque, suitable for operations that require high power and efficiency. The motor comes with M23 speedtec plug interface technology and comes with certifications like CE, cURus, and EAC.

This motor is unique due to its cooling method, which is natural convection. Convection cooling is the method which allows the motor to cool on its own through the circulation of cool air without any fan or liquid cooler involved. This makes the motor less complex, less noisy and smaller in size, hence decreasing maintenance requirements. It is also useful where there are no external cooling systems required, such as in clean rooms, laboratories, and other cold rooms. The convection method is reliable as long as there is sufficient airflow around the motor.

One key characteristic is its rated torque, which is equal to 4.40 Nm. Rated torque is capable of delivering high power without overheating or destruction. This value indicates that the motor is capable of supplying a constant and safe amount of force to run machinery for extended durations. Specifically, a torque of 4.40 Nm is suitable for the proper functioning of industrial systems.
