The AM8553-0K10-0000 is a high inertia servomotor such that for drive applications where precise control is paramount and the load to motor inertia ratio has to be optimized. A permanently excited 3 phase Synchronous motors, this 3-phase permanent magnet motor is rated for the 100 480V AC voltage supply and delivers standstill and peak of 11.4 and 52.5Nm respectively. This makes it handy where High Torque and Stability are Required at Controlled Angles, or such applications that demand critical control and high rigidity. Its rated 2000 RPM speed and 2.09 kW power output makes it suitable for operation in active industrial situations.
Particular attention is paid to the provision of external feedback monitoring – this motor is equipped with resolvers and OCT absolute encoders that may provide position performance more than 24 bits, with SIL 2/SIL 3 safe design. The inertia of the rotor is high which is 12.4 kgcm2, in applications that need load control that is gradual and smooth, this will be beneficial.
