The motor is used where coordinated positioning, velocity loops, and tight torque regulation are required, such as in packaging gantries, pick-and-place robots, or machine-tool spindles.
A flange size of 87 mm forms the mounting interface and matches standardized mechanical patterns on gearboxes or adapter plates. The electromagnetic layout follows winding code D, giving the stator resistance and inductance needed to pair with Beckhoff drive amplifiers for the intended current range.
