Product Description:
The AM8131-1F21-1001 is an advanced permanent magnet-excited three-phase synchronous motor built for heavy industrial use. Its nominal operating voltage is within the range of 24 to 48 V DC with standstill and rated torque being 1.35 Nm while peak torque is at 6.07 Nm. The motor has a rated speed of 1000 min⁻¹ and mounts 0.14kW of rated power output. The motor’s standstill current is 5.0 A with the peak current being 27.8 A, the torque constant being 0.27 Nm/A, and the rotor moment of inertia being 0.462kgcm², this motor is used in drives where there is need for minimum stable and accurate torque at low-speed operational level.
The motor includes such feedback options as OCT (One Cable Technology) 24bit resolution Eagle Encoder SIL 2, and EnDat 3 19bit resolution with advanced feedback functionality nestled in Tier 4. Such feedback systems ensure high position control of the motor while guaranteeing safe operational requirements thus enhancing the usability of the motor in critical high precision applications.
Convection is employed as the method of cooling the equipment which can operate in an ambient temperature of +5 to +40° C. The motor uses itec® plug connection technology that provides safe and robust power connection. Beckhoff provides power and feedback cables that are ready made for use with this motor. Mating connectors, however, are not included and should be selected according to Beckhoff’s documentation that contains a complete overview of existing cables and their parameters. The provided parameters must be observed because reliable and free from interference data transmission is achieved within the specified maximum of 500 connector working cycles and 10 power box rotation cycles. These limits define the wear level above which data quality during transmission will be compromised.
