Product Description:
AM8122-0JG0-0000 is a Beckhoff servomotor. This AM8122 series low-voltage motor is suited to dynamic drive solutions required for applications where the voltages supply is less than 50 Volts DC. This motor has a rated speed of 4500 RPM, a standstill current rating of 8 Amps and a standstill torque rating of 0.8 Nm. The main motor shaft has a smooth design. The AM8122-0JG0-0000 motor features One Cable Technology for power and feedback. The feedback is transmitted through the motor cable and a separate feedback cable is not needed. The feedback sensor is singleturn absolute encoder with 4086 revolutions. Resolution of the encoder is 24 bits. The encoder is SIL02 cable which is required for TwinSAFE functionality. The servomotor is without a holding brake. The nominal voltage range is 24 to 48 Volts DC.
Torque rating of the motor is 0.75 Nm and the peak torque is 4.05 Nm. The power output rating is 0.35 kilowatts. The peak current is 48 Amps and the torque constant is 0.1 Nm/A. The heat generated during operation is dissipated by convection cooling. For optimal performance Beckhoff recommends 5 to 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature. Protection rating of the servomotor is IP54 which can be increased to IP65 with the addition of an optional shaft seal. The motor is flange mounted as per IM B5, IM V3 and IM V1. Its housing is made of aluminum and the surface of the motor is coated with a gray powder. Diameter of the main shaft is 20 millimeters. Size of the motor flange is 58 millimeters and each mounting hole has a diameter of 5.5 millimeters. Length of the motor housing is approximately 133.5 millimeters.
