The AM8043-1KH0-0000 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Beckhoff for the AM Synchronous Servo Motors series. Designed for industrial automation systems, it converts electrical input from a compatible servo drive into precise rotary motion for packaging lines, pick-and-place modules, and CNC positioning tasks. The motor occupies the mid-power segment and supports rapid control loops while maintaining a compact housing. Its permanent-magnet design and electronic commutation provide responsive torque for applications that require repeatable acceleration, deceleration, and positioning.
Mounting uses an 87 mm flange that is compatible with IEC size 80 mechanical interfaces. Motion feedback is delivered by an OCT multi-turn encoder with 24-bit absolute resolution across 4,096 revolutions, permitting accurate position tracking without a new reference cycle after each power-up. This AM8043 model is supplied without a holding brake, so an external clamp or drive-generated torque must hold the axis at rest.
