The AM8042-0E21-0000 is a durable motor unit built by Beckhoff Automation to be used in the powering of industrial machines. This synchronous motor unit is perfectly suited to serve in applications that require a consistent support of torque at low inertia; it also consumes a relatively small amount of electrical energy during its operation. The windings integrated into the enclosure of this housing unit are equipped with a thermal contact labelled as LPTC-600, this contact helps controllers to keep track of the internal temperature in the motor. Connected controllers should be configured to display a warning at a temperature of 120 degrees. If the winding temperature reaches 140 degrees, it should be automatically turned off to prevent damage. A high-resolution feedback system is integrated into this motor unit; the feedback unit communicates with the drive controller through a feedback cable.
