The AM8033-1F20-0000 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Beckhoff for the AM Synchronous Servo Motors series. Intended for closed-loop axis control in industrial automation, the motor converts electrical input into precise rotational motion. Machine tools, handling modules, and assembly stations can use this controlled motion to position loads with repeatable accuracy. The permanent-magnet rotor works with sinusoidal commutation from a compatible servo drive to provide responsive torque and accurate speed regulation. The motor uses the standard version of the AM family, with its baseline dimensional interfaces, insulation class, and cooling arrangement.
A flange diameter of 72 mm provides the mounting interface for attaching the motor to a machine frame, gearbox, or coupling assembly. The power and signal leads exit through a rotatable angled connector or a terminal box, allowing the connection point to accommodate the available cable-routing space. Position feedback is supplied by an OCT multi-turn encoder that retains absolute position data across multiple shaft revolutions. This feedback allows the drive to determine the rotor position after power-up without requiring the axis to complete a new homing sequence. The shaft conforms to DIN 6885, allowing compatible keyed components to be installed without custom shaft machining. Its keyed output is suitable for applications where a clamping-only connection may not provide the required resistance to slipping under changing loads.
